Well after a 2 year absence  I was able to get back to Scarborough Faire in Waxahachie yesterday and it felt good to be back.  I concentrated on the shows more this year by watching the Rogues perform and the jousting and the belly dancers.  Near the end I watched a few more performers play.  The time went by very fast.  I don't remember that happening like that before.  Maybe because of my absence of not being there in the past 2 years.  I might go one more  time before the season is over.  The weather was perfect out there.  I got to see alot of people in their unique costumes walking around and I got the see the Birds of Prey which was very interesting.  I am going to try in the future to not miss the event like I have done in the past.

After you have attended the Waxahachie Scarborough Faire, you use that as a measuring stick for all other shows.  I was excited to get to go to the Four Winds faire but I was surprised at how small it was.  It was easy to get to but I had a run in with the county Sherriff over an expired inspection sticker and he gave me a warning but it got me into a bad mood at first.  I was expecting to be there most of the day but there was not enough things going on to spend the whole day.  I was a little disappointed with the lack of venders there.  There was alot of open land where they could have set up some more vendors.  The best thing about the faire was the jousting.  That was great.  I took some pictures which I will post shortly once I get the pictures developed.  I was glad that I went but my expections were set high and I was let down a little bit.  Well at least I know what to expect next time.  I am getting geared up for the Waxahachie show coming up next month.
